![]() ![]() The one I was using I downloaded last evening and have just discarded the installer and the folder of the program. Please do not write me again.Īnd thank you, Zero0. ![]() Since when is it OK to be promised one thing and get another? I think I am done with you. Just because you claim that it is an attitude shared by many in the industry does not make it right. Halgren, it is your attitude that I deplore. You can now rightfully go blame MS and see if you'll get such nice & quick support over there!Īs for more info on UAC Virtualization, how to set it right and whatnot, I honestly have been using Win7 for less than a day now and I couldn't help you there, so I'll let others help in. So the problem you're having is 100% due to Windows 7, and not XY. However, after you put in your license info you probably stopped & manually restarted XY, which had XY be launched with UAC Virtualization enabled this time, and as a consequence had XY not be to able to follow the junctions, due to access denied. You mention you do install XY, so here's my guess after a quick test of my own : after the installation was done, you had the installer start XY, right? If so, it probably was launched without UAC Virtualization, which as a consequence had XY be able to follow the junctions. And XY can follow junctions fine, unless access is denied by Windows - which, for me, happens to Explorer as well - so it isn't a bug in XY. Ok, so let's be clear again : there's no differences in XY after & before your registered, so again the problem must come from elsewhere - outside of XY. ![]()
